How he survived in the job after the WC was unbelievable, in any other form of the game he would have been shown the door, problem is i think who would want the England job? And of those maybe interested like "Arry" who would be a squeaky clean yes man for the FA? Certainly not Ärry" so maybe little choice but to stick with Roy until he resigns, can see him still in the job and preparing for the WC even if we go out in the group stages again.
Why are there so few decent English managers? Yet the Scots who have a shit league seem to produce an almost constant stream of managers who reach the highest level, god forbid we get a sweaty in charge though.
Eddie Howe for England maybe? about the only decent English manager at present.

If he knows it was a dive but is just saying that to defend the striker he's going to take to the Euros, then he's an idiot as well.

I dont have too much of a problem with him trying to say there was a bit of a coming together and I don't think he dived but to say abusing the referee is ok because he might be a bit upset is unacceptable.
I await the FA's reaction to that as it undermines their entire RESPECT campaign or whatever nonsense they are currently peddling to protect the wankers in the black.
